Raising Funds For Performing Arts Education
AMPAF hosted its 1st Annual Scholarship Performance Fundraising Event on Sunday, March 9, 2025. This landmark event took place at the historic Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ. A 1,050 seat theater, the Scottish Rite was the perfect venue, providing a professional stage for 270 emerging performing artists to showcase and celebrate their talents.
Supporting Emerging Artists
The funds AMPAF raised during the event directly contribute to scholarships, dance workshops, and community outreach efforts aimed at fostering and supporting young talent. This inaugural event set the stage for many more in the years to come, reinforcing AMPAF's mission in supporting emerging artists while making a lasting impact on the performing arts community.
Professional Performance Opportunity
Our fundrasing event brought together twelve dance companies, each given the unique opportunity to perform in a fully produced environment, complete with a top-notch lighting and sound system. This not only elevated each performance, but allowed dancers to experience the full scale of a professional show setting.
Scholarships and Awards
Our event concluded with our award ceremony where the foundation awarded over $5,000 in scholarships and awards, directly benefiting the talented performers who participated. These scholarships are crucial in supporting the next generation of artists by providing financial assistance for training, education, and future opportunities in the performing arts arena.
